AN ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE HATCHABILTY PERCENTAGE OF BRONZE TURKEY EGGS BY TECHNIQUE OF IN OVO INJECTION WITH L- CARNITINE

This study aimed to investigate the effects of pre-incubation in ovo injection with different levels L- carnitine (L-Car) on hatchability traits Bronze Turkey eggs, blood plasma constituents and subsequent growth performance hatched chicks. A total 300 hatching eggs were chosen (averaged 80.0 g) randomly divided into four main groups each three replicates (25 each). The 1st group was used as a control (C) without injection, while 2nd, 3rd 4th injected 0.1 ml distilled water contained 6, 8 or 10 mg L-Car/egg, respectively. Hatchability (%), Early late embryonic mortality (%) calculated. After hatch, 33 chicks taken from treatment then distributed (11 chicks, each), reared up 84 d-old evaluate their performance. results indicated that, in- L-car (with 6.0 mg/egg) before incubation had significantly (P≤0.01) increased fertile decreased both early compared (non-injected). Hatched /egg recoded significant improvement all studied during entire period after hatch other groups.  Blood PlasmaIGF-1, triiodothyronine antioxidant capacity elevated for at by group. Histological examination explained an small intestine lymphoid organs development  So, we concluded (6 could be promising technical method improve decrease obtain better immunity turkey hatch.
